# 大摩經濟學家：美元將在 2024 年初保持強勢 美聯儲將於明年年中開始降息

智通財經 APP 獲悉，摩根士丹利經濟學家對美元在明年的前景進行了評估之後表示，預計美元的強勢還將持續一段時間。經濟學家指出，美國經濟增長雖然放緩，但預計在 2024 年上半年將好於普遍預期，並保持在接近潛在增長率的水平。

經濟學家還表示，美國相對於其他主要經濟體的高利率將有利於美元。另外，由於美元在持續低增長的全球經濟中具有相當強的防禦性特徵，再加上央行的緊縮政策和地緣政治風險帶來的經濟下行風險，美元可能會繼續跑贏全球其他貨幣。經濟學家指出，美元不僅提供流動性和避險地位，還提供高收益，這當然使其頗具吸引力。

不過，經濟學家也預計，美元在明年初的強勢不會持續一整年，在對經濟的財政支持減少和高利率的影響開始顯現的情況下，美國經濟的增長將放緩。經濟學家預計，美聯儲將於明年年中開始降息。
