# MEITUAN's short-selling data surges!

On Tuesday, January 9th, Meituan's stock fell nearly 5%, with a decline of over 9% in just two trading days.

This week, the short-selling data for Meituan has surged! For two consecutive days, the amount of short-selling transactions for Meituan exceeded HKD 400 million, four times the data from last week! The number of shares being shorted has also skyrocketed!
