# Hong Kong Stock Market Update | BOYAA drops more than 10%, Bitcoin falls below $69,000. The company announced plans to purchase up to $100 million worth of cryptocurrency.

Zhitong App learned that BOYAA (00434) fell more than 10% in the morning session. As of the time of publication, it dropped by 9.13% to HKD 2.09, with a turnover of HKD 10.4346 million.

On the news front, Bitcoin has recently hit new highs. On March 13, the price of Bitcoin reached $73,664, setting a new record. However, Bitcoin took a dive today, falling below $69,000 and dropping by over 2% intraday. In a research report at the end of February, JPMorgan Chase pointed out that after the "halving" event in April, the price of Bitcoin may drop to $42,000.
