# "Apple Smart" to become an AI large model store? Apple is in talks with Meta, Anthropic, Perplexity, and others to settle in

According to media reports, Meta is in negotiations with Apple to integrate generative AI into Apple Intelligence. Apple Intelligence will serve as an AI distribution platform, providing services similar to the Apple Store.

In addition, reports citing sources familiar with the matter indicate that startups Anthropic and Perplexity are also discussing similar matters with Apple.

At the beginning of June, Apple officially launched Apple Intelligence at the Worldwide Developers Conference, stating that they will seek partners to advance more complex or specific tasks, with OpenAI being the first announced partner.

Apple stated that after partnering with other AI companies, users can choose AI models other than Apple Intelligence for their daily use. The media reports further mentioned that these AI companies will provide advanced subscription services through Apple Intelligence, with Apple taking a cut from the subscription revenue.

Analysts believe that if these collaborations are successful, it will not only help Apple further open up its AI platform and reduce dependence on OpenAI, but also potentially bring more revenue to other AI companies
