智通財經 APP 獲悉，內容交付網絡服務提供商 Fastly (FSLY.US) 近期宣佈了一項重組計劃，其中包括裁員約 11% 的全球全職員工。作為這一戰略調整的一部分，Fastly 預計將在 2024 年第三季度產生大約 950 萬至 1000 萬美元的費用，這些費用主要包括遣散費、員工福利以及與裁員相關的其他現金支出。  

根據公司文件披露，Fastly 預計裁員及相關現金支付將在本財年結束前，即 12 月 31 日之前完成。本週初，Fastly 下調了 2024 年全年業績預期 5%，這一消息導致其股價在週四收盤時下跌超過 14%。至此，Fastly 的股價在本年度已經累計下跌了近 67%。

最新的財報數據顯示，Fastly 在第二季度實現了營收的增長，從 1.228 億美元增至 1.324 億美元。然而，公司淨虧損達到了 4370 萬美元，即每股虧損 32 美分，與去年同期的虧損 1070 萬美元或每股虧損 8 美分相比有所增加。調整後的每股收益為 7 美分，略低於 FactSet 數據顯示的分析師預期的每股收益 8 美分。

Fastly 的首席執行官 Todd Nightingale 表示：“我們正在面臨一些最大客户的需求挑戰，因此我們正在採取措施調整成本結構。” 他進一步指出，“這一改變將使我們能夠專注於邊緣雲創新和持續進行的市場轉型。”
