# US July PPI Flash Estimate

In July, the US PPI increased by 2.2% year-on-year, lower than the expected 2.3%, with the previous value at 2.6%; the US core PPI in July increased by 2.4% year-on-year, also lower than the expected 2.6%, with the previous value at 3%. The data shows that the producer price inflation in the US in July was lower than expected, highlighting a continued easing of inflationary pressures, which may prompt the Federal Reserve to start a series of interest rate cuts from next month
