# China Passenger Car Association: Tesla Shanghai Gigafactory delivered over 86,000 vehicles in August, with interest-free benefits extended to the end of September

The latest data released by the China Passenger Car Association on September 3rd showed that in August this year, Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory delivered 86,697 vehicles, an increase of 17% compared to the previous month. Tesla also set a new domestic sales record this year with over 63,000 vehicles sold, representing a 37% increase month-on-month. In terms of popular models, domestic sales of the Model Y exceeded 45,000 units, while the Model 3 reached 18,000 units. It is reported that Tesla's five-year interest-free incentive policy will continue until September 30th. Consumers purchasing the Model Y and Model 3 can save over 26,000 yuan in interest
