# CEO of TSMC supplier XinYun Enterprise: Bullish on Artificial Intelligence, the prosperous scene has just begun

The CEO of Taiwan Semiconductor's major supplier stated that the demand for AI chips should stimulate the growth of the semiconductor industry in the coming years, refuting concerns from investors about misjudging the speed and intensity of AI spending. Xinyun Enterprise Co., Ltd. CEO Xu Mingqi stated that while the global chip market has grown by about 8% annually over the past 20 years, AI semiconductors are expected to grow at a faster rate in the future. "The booming development of the artificial intelligence industry has just begun," Xu Mingqi said. "For the most famous companies, the equipment we sell to them is likely to double or even triple in a year."
