# Before the US stock market opens, some popular Chinese concept stocks are rising, while gold and crude oil are also rising

On Thursday, October 10th, before the U.S. stock market opened, the futures of the three major U.S. stock indexes collectively fell, with the Dow futures down 0.13%, the S&P futures down about 0.18%, and the Nasdaq futures down 0.15%.

Some popular Chinese concept stocks rose. Alibaba rose nearly 1%, XPeng Motors rose over 3%, and Ctrip rose nearly 4%.

Tesla rose 0.66%; GlaxoSmithKline rose 0.27%, reaching a $2.2 billion settlement in the Zantac case.

Gold prices fluctuated, currently trading at $2614.41 per ounce.

Oil prices rose, with Brent crude oil currently at $77.12 per barrel and WTI crude oil at $73.10 per barrel.

The U.S. dollar index remained basically flat, currently at 102.93.
