# JINGRUI HLDGS faces winding-up petition

According to the news from Zhitong Finance APP, JINGRUI HLDGS (01862) announced that the company has noted that China CITIC Financial Assets International Holdings Limited (the petitioner) has submitted a winding-up petition to the High Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on October 10, 2024 against the company. The reason for the petition is that the company owes the petitioner (as guarantor) debts related to the loan financing owed by Natural Apex Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company), with a principal amount of approximately 108 million US dollars, plus accrued interest and penalties. The petition is scheduled to be heard in the High Court on December 18, 2024.

The submission of the petition does not mean that the petitioner will successfully wind up the company. As of the date of this announcement, the High Court has not issued a winding-up order to wind up the company
