# GOLDWAY EDU released its interim results, with a loss attributable to shareholders of HKD 3.232 million, an increase of 69.84% year-on-year

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, GOLDWAY EDU (08160) announced its interim results for the six months ending September 30, 2024. The group achieved revenue of HKD 22.902 million, a decrease of 1% year-on-year; the loss attributable to owners of the company was HKD 3.232 million, an increase of 69.84% year-on-year; the loss per share was HKD 0.0243.

For the six months ending September 30, 2024, the group's main business is providing tutoring services to primary and secondary school students in Hong Kong. For the six months ending September 30, 2024, the revenue from the tutoring business increased by approximately 8.2% compared to the same period last year. The increase was mainly due to the rise in the number of tutoring centers operated. Currently, the company operates 13 tutoring centers in Hong Kong (2023: 10 centers)
