# "Federal Reserve's number three" Williams: Considered Trump's policy proposals in economic forecasts

The President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (who has permanent voting rights on the FOMC) Williams stated that he has begun to consider the policy proposals of the incoming President Trump in his economic forecasts and indicated that monetary policy is prepared to address uncertainties next year. "I have incorporated some thoughts on fiscal policy, immigration, and other policy directions into my personal forecasts, as these are important drivers in thinking about the economic outlook," Williams said in an interview with CNBC on Friday. "But I want to emphasize that there is a lot of uncertainty."
