# Trading reminder: U.S. stock markets will be closed for one day on January 9th in mourning for former President Carter

According to Zhitong Finance APP, the U.S. stock market will be closed on January 9th (Thursday) in observance of a national day of mourning for the late 39th President Jimmy Carter. Normal trading will resume on January 10th (Friday)
