# The 10/30 year UK bond yield rose by more than 11 basis points, and the 30-year UK bond yield continues to reach a new high since 1998

On Wednesday (January 8), in the European market's late trading session, the yield on the UK 10-year government bond rose by 11.9 basis points to 4.802%. At 21:34 Beijing time (after the release of the US ADP non-farm employment data), it had risen to 4.824%. Over the last five trading days, it has accumulated an increase of more than 23.0 basis points, continuing to approach the peak of 4.832% on August 5, 2008, and the peak of 5.274% on June 13 of the same year
