# U.S. stocks plummet at the open: Nasdaq down 1.96%, Novo Nordisk down about 9%, Tesla down about 4%

At the beginning of the U.S. stock market, the Dow Jones fell by 1.1%, and the S&P 500 index fell by 1.4%. Chinese concept stocks generally declined, with Bilibili down about 7% and Alibaba down about 3%. Technology stocks broadly fell, with NVIDIA down about 2% and Meta down about 3%. Novo Nordisk fell about 9%, as the experimental data for the company's next-generation weight loss drug CagriSema fell short of expectations
