# BANK OF TIANJIN issues 5 billion yuan green financial bonds

According to the announcement from Tianjin Bank (01578), approved by the People's Bank of China, the bank has issued the "Tianjin Bank Co., Ltd. 2025 Green Financial Bonds" ("this bond") in the national interbank bond market. The bond was booked on March 20, 2025, completed issuance on March 24, 2025, and officially commenced interest on March 24, 2025.

The total issuance scale of this bond is RMB 5 billion, categorized as green financial bonds, with a coupon rate of 1.98%.

The funds raised from this bond issuance will be used entirely for green projects specified in the "Green Bond Support Project Catalog (2021 Edition)" in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory approvals. During the idle period of the raised funds, they may be invested in green bonds issued by non-financial enterprises and money market instruments with good credit ratings and market liquidity
