# Wu Xiaoqiu: Does not recognize the "East rises, West falls" phenomenon in the capital market; this round of increase is restorative

"I do not agree with the saying that the east rises and the west falls; this round of increase in Chinese assets is restorative." On March 25, at the 2025 Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference, Wu Xiaoqiu, Dean of the National Institute of Financial Research at Renmin University of China and Dean of the China Capital Market Research Institute, expressed his views on the revaluation of Chinese assets that occurred after the Spring Festival. Wu Xiaoqiu stated that the important support for the revaluation of Chinese assets is the confidence of all parties in the Chinese economy
