巴克萊經濟學家 Brian Tan 和 Hongying Liu 在一份報告中説，由於政府支出凍結、投資疲軟以及美國的關税挑戰，2025 年印尼經濟增速可能從去年的 5.0% 放緩至 4.8%。他們指出，財政延誤可能會導致政府支出停滯不前。他們認為，如果印尼盾保持穩定，印尼央行有可能在 5 月會議上降息 25 個基點。巴克萊維持其基本預測，即到 2026 年初再降息 4 次，每次 25 個基點。在國內需求走弱和外部貿易風險的背景下，對政策支持的需求日益增加。印尼央行的基準利率目前為 5.75%。
