# InnoCare won jurisdiction in the patent lawsuit against Infineon Technologies

According to reports, there has been new progress in the patent litigation between China's third-generation semiconductor company InnoSilicon and international chip giant Infineon. The Supreme People's Court has made a final ruling, rejecting the jurisdictional objection appeal filed by Infineon China and Wuxi companies, confirming the jurisdiction of the Suzhou Intermediate People's Court over the case. In January 2025, InnoSilicon Technology Co., Ltd. announced that the company and its wholly-owned subsidiary filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Infineon China, Infineon Wuxi, and Chipone Technology. Infineon raised a jurisdictional objection, but it was dismissed by the Suzhou Intermediate Court in the first instance. Infineon then appealed to the Supreme People's Court
