Last month, the company stated that it would provide early access to developers for the preview version of Gemini 2.5 Pro (I/O version), which is an updated version of 2.5 Pro. Google announced on Thursday that the new model will be based on the version released in May and showcased at the I/O conference, and it will become a universally available stable version for enterprise-level applications in a few weeks. According to Google, the latest 2.5 Pro has increased its Elo score on LMArena by 24 points, maintaining its leading position on the leaderboard, and its Elo score on WebDevArena has risen by 35 points, leading with a score of 1443. Tulsee Doshi, Senior Director of Product Management at Google, stated on Thursday: "It continues to excel in coding, maintaining its lead in challenging coding benchmarks such as Aider Polyglot.
