# Himalaya responds to acquisition: The company's development strategy remains unchanged and will continue to embrace AI

Regarding the acquisition of the company by Tencent Music Entertainment Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Ximalaya stated on June 11 that the merger and acquisition will be officially completed after all preconditions are met.
