# CHML plans to invest 877 million yuan to build a smart home appliance industrial park in Hefei to expand production capacity

According to the announcement from Zhitong Finance APP, Changhong Meiling (000521.SZ) announced that its subsidiary Hefei Changhong Industry Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Hefei Industry") plans to invest in the construction of the Hefei Changhong Smart Home Appliance Industrial Park project, with a total investment of 877 million yuan.

As indicated in the announcement, the project mainly involves the investment in the construction of a large-capacity refrigerator manufacturing center (including production plants for complete machines and components, finished product warehouses, etc.) and the addition of one production line for large-capacity refrigerators, covering an area of approximately 89,000 square meters and a building area of approximately 168,300 square meters. Upon completion, the project will optimize the refrigerator industry structure, directly enhance production and storage capacity, and the new production line will achieve an annual production capacity of 900,000 large-capacity refrigerators in a single shift.

The announcement stated that the project is beneficial for directly enhancing the production capacity of large-capacity refrigerators, expanding the production scale of large-capacity refrigerators, optimizing capacity structure, and reducing the capacity risk in the development of the refrigerator industry
