# Hongbaoli: Currently, the price of propylene oxide is operating at a low level, and the company has only a small amount of external sales

Hongbaoli recently stated during an institutional research meeting that the price of propylene oxide is currently operating at a low level. The company's Taixing base is accelerating the construction of the propylene oxide comprehensive technological transformation project to improve the operational efficiency of the facility while increasing the production capacity to 160,000 tons. The company's propylene oxide facility uses a self-developed isopropylbenzene method new process, which has certain advantages in safety, environmental protection, and quality. The company primarily produces propylene oxide for its own use, as raw materials for the production of polyurethane rigid foam copolyether and isopropanol amine series products, with only a small portion sold externally, not participating in market competition
