消息指，新科電信媒體正向潛在買家探討對其手上所有萬國數據股份的興趣，萬國數據股價近期上漲或令有關股份難以找到買家。消息亦指，新科電信媒體或分批出售股份，亦可能決定不出售有關股份，指相關討論尚處早期階段。
