# HC ENV TECH released its interim results, with a profit attributable to shareholders of HKD 36.403 million, an increase of 78.04% year-on-year

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, HC ENV TECH (02265) announced its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2025, reporting revenue of HKD 134 million, an increase of 27.11% year-on-year; profit attributable to shareholders was HKD 36.403 million, an increase of 78.04% year-on-year; earnings per share were HKD 0.036.

The announcement stated that the increase in revenue was mainly due to: the rise in the unit price of sulfuric acid, one of the products from the reprocessing of sulfur concentrate, and the increase in revenue from the sale of sulfur concentrate, driven by the increased demand from industries that rely on sulfur concentrate as a primary raw material, which led to a rise in the unit price of sulfur concentrate, partially offset by a decrease in revenue from the treatment of harmful waste from gold mines compared to the same period last year
