# Meituan CEO Wang Xing's letter to all employees: The average income of high-frequency riders is 7,230-10,100 yuan

Phoenix Technology reported on September 8th that, according to "Internet Gossip," Meituan CEO Wang Xing sent an internal letter to employees before the Mid-Autumn Festival. In the letter, he disclosed that over the past year, Meituan served 770 million users and 14.5 million active merchants annually, connecting an average of 3.36 million delivery riders per month, with peak daily orders for instant retail exceeding 150 million.

At the same time, in the first quarter of 2025, the average income of high-frequency Meituan riders is expected to be between 7,230 and 10,100 yuan, an increase of 12% compared to the end of 2024. Additionally, Meituan's rider pension insurance subsidy will be expanded nationwide this year, covering all types of riders.

Furthermore, Meituan stated that it will strive to make "food delivery" a stable income, fully guaranteed, and future-oriented profession, fully leveraging its social value in "stabilizing employment."
