The Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ) has initiated an investigation into the potential adverse effects of artificial intelligence ( AI ) chatbots on children and teenagers. The probe encompasses seven major companies, including OpenAI, Alphabet GOOG GOOGL, Meta META, and Snapchat SNAP.
