# September 19th Midday Review: ChiNext rose 0.16% after a high and then a pullback, and photolithography machine concept stocks continued to be strong

The Shanghai Composite Index experienced a slight adjustment in the morning, while the ChiNext Index rose and then fell back. Stocks related to photolithography machines continued to show strength, with XILONG SCIENTIFIC, KAIMEITE GASES, and several others hitting the daily limit. The optical communication sector remained active, with Tiantong Co., Ltd. and Changfei Optical Fiber also reaching their limits. Lithium mining stocks surged during the session, with Ganfeng Lithium hitting the daily limit. On the downside, robotics concept stocks faced adjustments, with Shanghai Construction Group, Jinfat Technology, and Wanxiang Qianchao all hitting the daily limit down. More stocks fell than rose, with over 3,600 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets showing declines, and a total transaction volume of 1.51 trillion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.03%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.32%, and the ChiNext Index increased by 0.16%
