# ASIA ORIENT sold its Guangdong-Hong Kong Bay convertible bonds, realizing 14.19 million yuan

ASIA ORIENT (00214.HK) announced the sale of zero-coupon mandatory convertible bonds issued by Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Holdings (01396.HK) in the open market, for a cash consideration of USD 1.82 million (approximately HKD 14.19 million). It is estimated that the sale will record a pre-tax profit of approximately HKD 4.54 million before non-controlling interests
