# China Mobile, in collaboration with ecological partners, jointly launched the "Light Up 100 Cities" quantum experimental network

On October 11, at the main forum of the 2025 China Mobile Global Partner Conference, China Mobile, along with representatives from over ten ecological partners including China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and China Information Communication Technology Group, jointly launched the "Brighten a Hundred Cities" quantum experimental network and officially announced the establishment of the Quantum Ecological Alliance. According to reports, the China Mobile "Brighten a Hundred Cities" quantum experimental network will achieve several key outcomes: first, it will realize cross-domain interconnection, with multiple regional centers completing key coordination, overcoming the challenges of quantum key cross-regional scheduling; second, the quantum network will connect a hundred cities, achieving a unified quantum communication network through coordinated planning of metropolitan area networks, backbone networks, and satellite-ground networks; third, commercial capabilities will mature, with the ability to scale deployment of quantum password service platforms and quantum metropolitan area networks, and pilot applications will be carried out in fields such as government affairs and finance. The experimental network will become a practical infrastructure deeply integrated with existing communication networks, and network coverage will gradually expand to all 31 provinces and cities across the country, providing quantum security guarantees for the digital economy
