截至 10 月 13 日午盤，小米集團股價大跌 7.82%，報 47.98 港元/股。當天的一起小米汽車事故引發社會廣泛關注。10 月 13 日凌晨 3 時 16 分左右，四川成都天府大道發生一起涉及小米 SU7 的嚴重交通事故。據媒體報道，該車輛駕駛位有人員被困，多名路人主動參與救援，徒手或用工具猛砸車窗，有路人的手都流了血，還有人拿來了滅火器，但火勢迅猛，未打開車門。消防人員到場後，先用水槍壓制火勢，隨後用工具切割車身救援，現場方才逐步得到控制。
