Currently, with a surge in demand for OpenAI services, this is the latest collaboration in the computing power sector for the world's highest-valued startup. Both companies stated that OpenAI will be responsible for chip design, while Broadcom will begin advancing the research and deployment of the chip starting in the second half of 2026. At that time, they will launch a custom chip with a total power of 10 gigawatts, which is roughly equivalent to the total electricity consumption of over 8 million households in the United States, or five times the power generation of the Hoover Dam. Here is a list of recent major collaboration agreements worth billions of dollars in the fields of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and chips: **Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and OpenAI** AMD has signed a multi-year agreement with OpenAI to supply artificial intelligence chips. Under the agreement, OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, also received an option to acquire approximately 10% of the chip manufacturer's shares. **NVIDIA and OpenAI** NVIDIA plans to invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI and provide it with data center chips. Through this deal, NVIDIA will acquire a portion of OpenAI's equity. In fact, OpenAI has long been an important customer of NVIDIA. **Meta and CoreWeave** CoreWeave has signed a $14 billion agreement with Meta to provide computing power support for the Facebook parent company. **NVIDIA and Intel** NVIDIA will invest $5 billion in Intel, and after Intel issues new shares, NVIDIA will hold approximately 4% of its shares. **Oracle and Meta** Oracle is negotiating a multi-year cloud computing agreement with Meta, valued at approximately $20 billion. This collaboration highlights the social media giant's efforts to secure faster access to computing power. **Oracle and OpenAI** Reports indicate that Oracle has signed one of the largest cloud computing agreements in history with OpenAI. Under the agreement, OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, will procure $300 billion worth of computing power from Oracle over approximately five years. **CoreWeave and NVIDIA** CoreWeave has signed an initial order with investor NVIDIA, valued at $6.3 billion. The agreement stipulates that NVIDIA, the artificial intelligence chip manufacturer, will acquire all cloud computing power not sold to customers by CoreWeave. **Nebius Group and Microsoft** NVIDIA will provide Microsoft with graphics processing unit (GPU) infrastructure computing power, with a 5-year agreement worth $17.4 billion. **Meta and Google** Reuters reported in August this year that Google signed a 6-year cloud computing agreement with Meta Platforms, valued at over $10 billion. **Intel and SoftBank Group** SoftBank Group will invest $2 billion in Intel, making the Japanese tech investment giant one of the top ten shareholders of Intel, the struggling American chip manufacturer. **Tesla and Samsung** Tesla signed a chip procurement agreement worth $16.5 billion with Samsung Electronics. Tesla's CEO Elon Musk stated that the new chip factory being built by Samsung in Texas will be responsible for producing Tesla's next-generation AI6 chip. **Meta and Scale AI** Meta acquired a 49% stake in Scale AI for approximately $14.3 billion and invited the company's 28-year-old CEO Alexandr Wang to join, playing a significant role in Meta's artificial intelligence strategy. **Google and Windsurf** Google poached several core employees from the AI code generation startup Windsurf and will pay $2.4 billion in licensing fees as part of the agreement, granting Google non-exclusive access to some of Windsurf's technology. **CoreWeave and OpenAI** In March of this year, before the initial public offering (IPO) of CoreWeave, a startup invested by NVIDIA, the company signed a 5-year contract with OpenAI worth $11.9 billion. **STARGATE DATACENTER PROJECT** The "STARGATE" is a joint venture project initiated by SoftBank, OpenAI, and Oracle aimed at building data centers. U.S. President Donald Trump announced the project in January this year, stating that the aforementioned companies would invest up to $500 billion to fund artificial intelligence infrastructure. **Amazon and Anthropic** Amazon invested $4 billion in Anthropic, a competitor of OpenAI, doubling its investment in the company known for its generative AI chatbot Claude ### 相關股票 - [NVIDIA (NVDA.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/NVDA.US.md) - [OpenAI (OpenAI.NA)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/OpenAI.NA.md) ## 相關資訊與研究 - [OpenAI, not yet public, raises $3B from retail investors in monster $122B fund raise](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/281250634.md) - [OpenAI is now bringing in $2 billion a month - and 3 more highlights from its latest update](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/281258023.md) - [Mercor says it was hit by cyberattack tied to compromise of open-source LiteLLM project](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/281282573.md) - [OpenAI pledges $1B yearly to Healthcare AI & Safety Programs, part of $25B total commitment for disease research, economy, and AI safety.
