The Nasdaq 100 Index closed down 170.936 points, a decrease of 0.69%, at 24579.317 points.

The Nasdaq Technology Market Capitalization Weighted Index closed down 1.12%, at 2235.4116 points.

The Nasdaq Biotechnology Index closed up 0.24%, at 5092.81 points.

The Russell 2000 Index closed up 1.38%, at 2495.499 points.
