Last week, Tesla released the FSD v14 update, the first major update in a year, which includes a new mode: Idle Mode, a slower driving speed mode. Now, Tesla has launched another update, FSD v14.1.2, adding another extreme mode: MAD MAX. The automaker wrote in the release notes: "A new speed profile, MAD MAX, has been introduced, which has higher speeds and more frequent lane changes than HURRY." This is not the first time Tesla has introduced such a mode; as early as 2018, Tesla first introduced the "MAD MAX" mode during the early stages of FSD's predecessor, Autopilot. At that time, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that the feature was more aggressive in changing lanes and dealing with more challenging traffic conditions. He specifically mentioned Los Angeles. The "MAD MAX" mode of Tesla FSD is similar. Less than 24 hours after its launch, it was already found to make some vehicles roll through stop signs (allowing cars to ignore stop signs at intersections and pass through at lower speeds) or exceed the speed limit by more than 15 miles per hour (24 kilometers per hour). In 2022, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) required Tesla to recall the FSD Beta due to its rolling stops. Over the past year, NHTSA has conducted four independent investigations into FSD. Tesla is awaiting a court ruling on the California DMV case regarding the naming of Autopilot and FSD ### 相關股票 - [Tesla (TSLA.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLA.US.md) - [GraniteShares 2x Short TSLA Daily ETF (TSDD.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSDD.US.md) - [Direxion Daily TSLA Bull 2X Shares (TSLL.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLL.US.md) - [AXS TSLA Bear Daily ETF (TSLQ.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLQ.US.md) - [XI2CSOPTSLA-U (09366.HK)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/09366.HK.md) - [XL2CSOPTSLA (07766.HK)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/07766.HK.md) - [XI2CSOPTSLA (07366.HK)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/07366.HK.md) - [GraniteShares 2x Long TSLA Daily ETF (TSLR.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLR.US.md) ## 相關資訊與研究 - [Anthropic Reportedly Accidentally Leaks Certain Claude Code Internal Source Code](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/281339600.md) - [Tesla’s sales recover slightly, but the trend lines are all bad](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/281541012.md) - [Gavin Newsom Hails Apple's '50 Years Of Innovation' As Tesla, Chevron, McKesson Leave California](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/281496370.md) - [Research Alert: CFRA Reiterates Sell Opinion On Shares Of Tesla, Inc.](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/281543244.md) - [Tesla Posts One Of Its Worst Sales Quarters In Years—Prediction Markets Saw It Coming](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/281548812.md)
