# OpenAI model Sora 2 launched on Microsoft Azure AI Foundry

On October 17th, Microsoft announced that OpenAI's next-generation multimodal video generation model Sora 2 is now live on Azure AI Foundry and has entered the public preview phase. Starting today, Sora 2 can be accessed via the Standard Global API on Azure AI Foundry, priced at $0.10 per second
