歐洲央行行長拉加德週日表示，全球經濟 “尚未完全感受到特朗普關税帶來的陣痛”。 拉加德在節目中指出，總有一天，出口商和進口商將不再接受關税導致的利潤空間縮水，進而決定提高產品價格。 “本質上，這三分之二的由出口商和進口商這兩類企業承擔，其基礎是擠壓自身利潤空間，” 她説，“他們能忍受這種利潤擠壓多久——仍需觀察。而當他們無法忍受時，因為壓力變得太大，成本就會轉嫁到消費者身上。所以，這只是時間問題。” 拉加德表示，關税是導致全球經濟 “處於轉型中” 的兩大因素之一，另一個因素是科技進步。
