據英國金融時報報道，黃金價格週二暴跌 6%，創下 2013 年 4 月來最大單日跌幅。本輪歷史性的黃金漲勢在印度排燈節購金季結束之際暫告歇息。金價在週一觸及每盎司 4381 美元高點後，週二驟跌至 4082 美元，市場普遍認為這是遲來的回調。今年以來的歷史性漲勢在近幾周加速，僅過去兩個月漲幅就達 25%。MKS PAMP SA 金屬策略主管 Nicky Shiels 表示：“市場已顯現泡沫跡象，主要催化劑是極度超買狀態——這輪漲勢正在見頂。六週內暴漲 1000 美元的事實表明，金價已過度高估，我們正處於非理性高位。” 分析師指出，近日美元反彈以及因美國政府停擺導致期貨市場持倉數據缺失，共同促成了這次自 2013 年以來最劇烈的金價暴跌。
