# Volkswagen denies that the suspension of two models is related to supply pressure from Nexperia

Earlier reports indicated that German automaker Volkswagen plans to suspend production of the Golf and Tiguan models due to supply chain pressures related to a dispute with Nexperia. A Volkswagen spokesperson clarified that the statement is "incorrect," stating that the suspension is a long-planned inventory adjustment measure, which is expected to end before this weekend
