# Multiple brokerage firms have renamed corporate bonds to "Sci-Tech Bonds," issuing nearly 60 billion yuan this year

Since the launch of the first batch of securities companies' sci-tech bonds in May, the scale of sci-tech bond issuance by brokerages has steadily increased this year. Recently, FCSC announced that it would change its issued corporate bonds to sci-tech bonds, with the purpose of raising funds also modified accordingly, mainly for investment in technology innovation-related businesses. In addition, Western Securities and GF SEC have also implemented similar measures, highlighting the enthusiasm of brokerages in the issuance of sci-tech bonds. According to Wind statistics, based on the listing date as the statistical standard, as of October 24th, the issuance scale of brokerages' sci-tech bonds this year has approached 60 billion yuan. Industry insiders expect that, with the support of relevant policies, the issuance of sci-tech bonds will continue to maintain a rapid growth rate in the future
