# TCL TECH.: 2026 is a big year for sports events, and the demand for TV panels is expected to increase by 1-2%

TCL TECH recently stated during an institutional research that since the beginning of this year, global trade frictions have caused significant disturbances to the inventory rhythm of the industrial chain and the expectations of downstream consumers. In the recent view, global trade frictions have eased, and various links of the industrial chain have strengthened their delivery capabilities through improved globalization layout, providing good conditions for the orderly development of the industry in 2026. Looking ahead to next year, 2026 is a big year for sports events, with both the Winter Olympics and the US-Canada-Mexico World Cup expected to drive television consumption, especially for large-sized televisions.
