# Today's Trump News

1.  Tariffs: Trump stated that he would not attend the Supreme Court hearing on the legality of tariff measures.
    
2.  Government Shutdown: The U.S. federal government shutdown has entered its 34th day, just one day away from the record for the longest shutdown in history at 35 days. Trump urged Democratic senators to vote in favor of a temporary funding bill proposed by Republicans that has already passed the House to end the government shutdown.
    
3.  Russia-Ukraine Situation: Trump stated that he has not seriously considered providing "Tomahawk" missiles to Ukraine. When asked if he plans to use frozen Russian assets as a bargaining tool, he replied, "I won't do that. I guess what's happening is that Europe and Russia are having discussions. I'm not involved in those discussions."
    
4.  NVIDIA: Trump stated, "We will not give NVIDIA's BLACKWELL chips to anyone," and that he has "been meeting with Jensen Huang of NVIDIA."
    
5.  Venezuela: Trump stated, "We have a secret plan for Venezuela, let's wait and see," and "I don't think we will go to war with Venezuela."
    
6.  Nigeria: Trump stated that the U.S. "might" send ground troops into Nigeria or launch airstrikes.
    
7.  Bitcoin: Trump stated that he is not aware of the pardon granted to Binance's Zhao Changpeng.
    
8.  Targeting "Drug Trafficking Vessels": Reports indicate that the Trump administration believes that even as bipartisan lawmakers express increasing dissatisfaction with the government's failure to provide legal justification for attack actions, the government can still continue lethal military operations against "suspected drug trafficking vessels" in the Caribbean and East Pacific without congressional authorization
