# U.S. Stock Movement | AWS secures a $38 billion computing power deal with OpenAI, Amazon rises over 4.5% in pre-market trading

According to Zhitong Finance APP, on Monday, Amazon (AMZN.US) stock price rose over 4.5% in pre-market trading, while NVIDIA (NVDA.US) increased by over 2.5%. In terms of news, Amazon's cloud services division, Amazon Web Services (AWS), announced a massive computing power supply agreement with OpenAI worth up to $38 billion over seven years, which will provide hundreds of thousands of high-end AI accelerator chips from NVIDIA.

The agreement details show that OpenAI will immediately begin using AWS's computing resources, with the batch of chips to be fully delivered by the end of 2026, including options for future expansion. The deployed chip models include NVIDIA's latest GB200 and GB300 AI accelerators, which will support the response generation of ChatGPT and the training of the next generation of large models
