# Tesla's electric vehicle sales in China in October fell by 9.9% year-on-year

Data released by the China Passenger Car Association on Tuesday showed that Tesla's electric vehicle sales in China in October were 61,497 units, a year-on-year decrease of 9.9%, reversing the 2.8% growth trend in September.

The Model 3 and Model Y vehicles produced at the company's "Gigafactory" in Shanghai (including sales exported to Europe, India, and other markets) saw a month-on-month decline of 32.3% compared to September
