# He Xiaopeng responds to the commercialization landing scenarios of humanoid robots: entering factories and doing housework are not the best scenarios

On November 5th, XPeng Chairman He Xiaopeng stated at the 2025 XPeng Technology Day that humanoid robots currently entering factories to "screw bolts" or into homes for household chores are still not the best application scenarios, and true commercialization will take time. He Xiaopeng further explained that tests have shown that humanoid robots experience rapid wear on their mechanical hands when performing factory tasks such as screwing bolts, and the manufacturing cost of a humanoid robot's hand is extremely high, equivalent to the cost of hiring a worker for several years. Additionally, safety remains the biggest challenge for humanoid robots entering home environments. Therefore, XPeng's humanoid robots will first enter commercial scenarios to provide services, and next year, XPeng's humanoid robots will enter XPeng stores to undertake tasks such as providing explanations
