# Google Maps will add AI Gemini

Alphabet (GOOG.US) subsidiary Google announced on Wednesday that its navigation tool Google Maps will be upgraded with the addition of the generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot Gemini.

Google stated that users will now be able to search for locations hands-free on Google Maps, using only voice commands. Google indicated that Gemini in Google Maps will be gradually rolled out over the next few weeks on all Android and iOS devices that support Gemini
