Rare earth concept stocks showed mixed performance, with MP Materials rising 5.4%, UUUU up 1%, while USAR fell 1% and NB dropped 2.4%.  
Brazilian rare earth producer Serra Verde secured up to $465 million in funding from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation.  
This financing will be used to upgrade the company's Peraiema mine located in Goiás, Brazil, according to a document from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation's website dated August 15. The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation operates under the guidance of the U.S. Department of State's foreign policy
