# According to reports, memory chip manufacturer SanDisk has significantly raised flash memory prices by up to 50%, and several module manufacturers have suspended shipments

Multiple foreign media outlets cited a report from Taiwan's Electronic Times. American memory chip manufacturer SanDisk (SNDK.US) significantly raised its NAND flash contract prices this month, with an increase of up to 50%. This event highlights the tight supply in the memory market due to ongoing demand from artificial intelligence data centers and wafer supply constraints.

The report cited market sources indicating that the price increase has caused a ripple effect throughout the entire memory supply chain, leading module manufacturers such as Transcend, Innodisk, and Apacer to suspend shipments and reassess their quotes. Among them, Transcend suspended quotes and deliveries last Friday (the 7th).

SanDisk's performance for the fiscal quarter ending on the 3rd of last month exceeded expectations, and the stock surged over 15% last Friday
