# The soaring valuations of technology stocks have driven a significant increase in SoftBank's profits, and the company has sold its holdings in NVIDIA in October

On November 10th, SoftBank Group's latest financial report showed that the net profit for the second quarter was JPY 2.5 trillion, compared to an estimate of JPY 418.23 billion. The net sales for the second quarter were JPY 1.92 trillion, with market estimates at JPY 1.89 trillion.

The financial report also indicated that SoftBank's net profit for the first half of the year was JPY 2.92 trillion, with net sales of JPY 3.74 trillion.

SoftBank will implement a 1-for-4 stock split on January 1, 2026.

Meanwhile, SoftBank stated that it sold its shares in Nvidia in October
