# Amidst a chorus of bearish voices, is the "most unpopular" Christmas rally in US stocks about to arrive?

Carson Group Chief Market Strategist Ryan Detrick stated:

Historically, there have only been 3 instances where the number of bears in the AAII (American Association of Individual Investors) survey exceeded the number of bulls by 10% or more throughout the year.

In 1990, 2008, and 2022, all were bear markets and were bad years for investors.

This may happen this year, but the stock market is currently performing well. Could this be the most hated bull market in history?

It's hard to say, but maybe it is.
