# EMPEROR E HOTEL issued a profit warning, expecting the mid-term net loss to narrow significantly to no more than HKD 80 million

According to the announcement from Emperor E Hotel (00296), the group's net loss is expected to significantly narrow to no more than HKD 80 million for the six months ending September 30, 2025 (the current period) (2024: HKD 226 million). This improvement is mainly due to a substantial decrease in the fair value loss of investment properties to no more than HKD 70 million (2024: HKD 264 million). The board believes that the fair value loss is a non-cash item and therefore will not have a direct impact on the group's cash flow
